ABOUT OUR GYMNASTICS CAMPS
Camps at Richmond Hill Gymnastics are full of fun, fitness and fundamentals. We pride ourselves in offering a safe and nurturing environment for all age groups; perfect for making new friends! Structured classes provide athletes (both beginner and advanced) with a setting where they can learn new skills and improve on old skills, while supervised free-time allows athletes the autonomy to focus on accomplishing their chosen goals. Arts & crafts offer children a time to exercise their creativity instead! All coaches are certified in First Aid as well as through the NCCP program. Please note that in response to Covid-19 and in the interest in the health and safety of our athletes and staff we will be following very strict protocols at our facility. In addition, the number of campers in the facility will be limited.
IMPORTANT NOTES
All children must be at least 4.5 years old to attend 1/2 day camp and 6.5 years old to participate in full day camp
There will be NO REFUNDS for any camp registrations.
All camp registration costs are calculated on a weekly basis.
What to bring…
Gym bag with large Ziploc or grocery bag for shoes
Come dressed for camp. Use of cubbies and change-rooms will NOT be permitted.
Personal supply of hair-ties and band-aids
A labelled water bottle AND a nut free snack (1/2 day) or nut free snack and nut free lunch (full day)
Personal hand sanitizer
Some notes…
The following information will help clarify procedures for keeping our athletes and staff safe. Please ensure you are educated on our policies to promote a safe and fun camp experience.
Athletes are to be dropped off at the front door / social distance markers. No parents will be allowed in the gym.
Masking will be optional for all staff and athletes
Athletes and parents will be asked screening questions before athletes are permitted to enter.
Athletes must come changed. Change-room use is not permitted.
Athletes will sanitize hands and feet upon entering the facility.
Outdoor shoes will be bagged upon entering the front door. Any additional clothes will be placed in their gym bags.
Social distancing will be encouraged in the facility.
Socially distanced markers have been placed on the floor for warm-up drills and games.
Athletes will work individually on drills / circuits on each event.
Athletes will have their own piece of equipment for several minutes and will sanitize their hands, feet, and equipment between event rotations.
Maximum gathering numbers will be respected in the facility.
Athletes will have a short break to use the washrooms and have a drink.
Washroom visits will happen one at a time and all handles / taps / toilets will be sanitized frequently.
At the end of camp athletes will be picked up at the south door by the balance beams.
The entire facility will be cleaned in between groups of campers.

SUMMER BREAK CAMP
Summer Break Camp with the Richmond Hill Gymnastics Club includes lots of gymnastics of course! At our camp, athletes participate in a structured gymnastics class and have periods of supervised free time in the gym where they can work on their favorite skills, or play imaginative games with friends.Gymnastics is a demanding sport, so we break up the day with snacks, organized games, arts and crafts.
HALF DAY (AM) 9:30AM - 12:30PM
FULL DAY 9:30AM - 3:30PM



WINTER BREAK CAMP
Winter Break Camp with the Richmond Hill Gymnastics Club includes lots of gymnastics of course! At camp, athletes participate in a structured gymnastics class and have periods of supervised free time in the gym where they can work on their favorite skills, or play imaginative games with friends.
